Searched the forums here but couldn't find anything on removing the windows from the front doors. I've removed the fuzzy channels and vent window seal but I'm stumped on what to do next. Do I need to take the vent window frame out?

The window is glued at the bottom into the window regulator track. It is difficult to get out and takes some patience. A screwdriver with a pry motion is what it takes, accessing the window through the door panel. Once removed, the glass has to be lifted up through the window opening and out.
Vent frame and window can stay in place.

Here's the shop manual supplement instructions:
Don't mess with the vent windows! Remove the bottom screw holding the rear track and move it aside and with the regulator fully down, tilt the glass forward and slide the channel out of the regulator and with the glass leaning forward, lift it out through the fuzzy guide slot. Goes back same way. I did this, very easy. Not sure why it says not to remove armrest? my armrests (64) attach through the trim panel, maybe when the book was written, they intended the armrests to be attached to the panel with screws from the rear? But just follow the manual. Get one if you don't have one, under $30 on eBay for a nice clean re-pro. Click the pics to see larger, I did this so they could be read easier.
