No Vanny, I've never been up in that corner further than NY City. Always wanted to visit up there though.

I got a picture of my old van working! I have the story on my thread about my van, so I won't go into it here. It's a picture out of an old newspaper dated Feb 21, 1963

This shot is before they finished outfitting it for the Grangeville Fire Department. They added a rack on top for a ladder or stretcher and a large antenna on the drivers side halfway back.

That is so cool, Brent! A rare find, to see your van when it was young! And in he paper, no less!

How about you put a link to your van's thread here? I don't know my way around the Ford section! Smile

Van unloading behind the Ladies going to the Joey Bishop Show!

And I assume a staged picture for an Econoline ad. Tires are too shinny for a real work van! Razz
Pretty cool anyway, I'm sure there were tons of Super Vans used to haul carpet around.

Picture of where the van once was in the Joey shot lol

Looks to be a working Dodge, but can't tell what it says on the side.

I found this one while searching for GMC Handivan. He replicated that odd Sears layout!

Click on it for a nice hi-res shot:

I just ran across this photo on my hard drive. 1st Gen Chevy no door. Not sure what's going on with the paint. It's like someone's doing a careful archaeological uncovering of the previous working-van paint job!

Got these pictures from the Yahoo Econoline page. One of the members there posted these from a TV show he was watching

American Pickers, it was just on again Wednesday...Rocco and Cheaters Speedshop. Mike wanted to buy the GMC panel truck but owner wanted 85K(emotional attachment) Shop's been closed for a while but still quite a bit of cool old NOS speed shop stuff. Would love to go on a shopping spree in that shop!!!

Joe Van posted these a while back when it was first aired. I would love to travel with Mike and Frank to get to meet some of the people they meet. Cool way to make a living!

Been busy with work myself and haven't had time to picture search. Damn jobs take up too much time.

Anyway...A street from the 70's. Econoline Early in distance in center.
