Time of Post issues Empty Time of Post issues

Post by Nightmoves Sun Nov 23, 2014 6:38 am

Ever since we changed did the time change a few weeks back,(U.S.?) the time of day when I make a post/comment has ADVANCED two hours What the heck?
I'm already off schedule with the rest of the normal people by 12 hours already, and this isn't helping any.Not good for my OCD either.heh
Evidently, the board didn't change with the time.
Where/how can I correct this, and will I have to fix again,in the Spring? Thanks in advance.

Well I thought I was the only one confused.  I moved from CA to NC this year and that's 3 hours different. I notice many people posting here are on the west coast and post in the evening.  Since I am 3 hours ahead sometimes it's already yesterday for me when you guys are still today.  I did notice a change in the way the times of my postings are showing up. They did show as west coast time instead of my actual time. This is probably set by the server and it's location.  I will post this at just after 3:00 AM eastern standard.  Happy Motoring! Jerry

I bet going From Cali to N.C. was confusing within itself, plus a time change. It looked correct here 3AM EST.Must have been fixed, somehow.
    Just remember : Who's on first,What's on second,Yesterday's pitching,Tomorrow's catching.
    Thanks,Whomever.

Same here. I posted a reply at 3:06 AM and now the site says posted at 12:06. Does it really matter. I'll bet that someone that understands HTML could read the code and tell you why. Oh well, I'm just getting old and grumpy and need something to complain about. I really don't care cause it's still a great web site and my THANKS go out to all the contributors no matter what time it is. Jerry

You can change your time settings in your Profile under Preferences then timezone.

I don't know how they came up with their list of  cities but here's what you need to look for.

    Eastern time zone = (UTC-5:00)

    Central time zone = (UTC-6:00)

    Mountain time zone = (UTC-7:00)

    Western time zone = (UTC-8:00)

Just pick one of the towns that has your correct (UTC-???) then click save at the bottom of the page.
