Re: A100's invade SEMA
hey all, a little update on the trip. the trip out was not uneventful, somewhere
in iowa we burnt up a power switch. a quick hot wire and down the road again.
put in a 20 amp switch that got us to nebraska before it went. then we took the
rad fans off the power switch, new switch and hot wire fans for now. tightened up
a minor trans temp sender leak, and back on road. arriving in salt lake friday, thru
the truck wash and into deb's house. fixed a few minor problems then off to bed.
up at 6 and off to the kustom krase car show at 7 to get a good location, unload
setup and spend the day mixing with the locals. surffink and the l600 drew alot of
attention. they filled up the grounds with over 250 rat rods, customs, and cruisers.
the host club follows the traditions of ed "rat fink" roth in dressing and building of
their cars and life style. they had a pedal car build off, then auctioned off the cars
and many pinstriped items to the tune of over 10k for a local kids charity, AWESOME.
finished the day at an after show party with a band and magician.
sunday was work day, help coop detail the surffink, fix a few details on the rig, and
coop took time to stripe the fargo p\u, nice. there will be more to the adventure as the week goes on and we head toward vegas baby.

Re: A100's invade SEMA
And a nother update 2,200 miles later Coop & Scottie made vagas.
With only a few minor glitches, a few bolts came loose, , a hose leak, a fuel leak
A flat tire on the trailer, and of course a state trooper had to sniff around looking for something,
After a question and answer session the police decided there was nothing to find,
Scottie is running non commerical license plates, and they were asking did any one pay for the fuel ?? the hotel ?? the hauling of the a100's ?? tying to bust them for commerical work with a non commerical plate, the police did not understand why someone would drive from Ohio to Vagas for
the SEMA show, and didnot know what the sema show was,
scottie and coop will be at the so-cal rod shop / cruise Friday, , Sat is a run around day sunday is a wash and wax and visit some freinds, Monday Coops van goes in to the sema show for display,
Tuesday thru Friday is the sema show, coop will be in the P.P.G. building doing pinstriping with the new ppg paints, So do stop in to see them,

Yeah, and then we could support the Mexicans, house them, get them free medical coverage. And could vote illegally for more entitlements. Don't get me started.
