I bought this from summit racing
    http://www.summitracing.com/parts/csi-6008

I'm wondering how to hook this up or do i return it and get a different throttle cable?
Or mod it to fit? what would i need?
Something like this? would it fit?

Before it was a thin cable that ran through to the gas pedal and carb. With the new cable it has bolt ends. Summit racing doesn't have anything else but the cable. I'm looking for the end pieces to attach the cable to.

i'm also selling my van. I've done a lot to it and Just broken the cable driving home from work. any Help would be wonderful. Thanks guys!!

wondering if this would be a better solution

ok mr. dose -as ur in portland- surrounded by water (sea) get on over to any marine dealer- take the cable with you-and see if they dont have new or-USED?? adapter screw ends for the cable you bought. These cables are usually morse or teleflax brand- 33 or 3300 cables. Now the end where the old cable attaches in the pix -likely can be ground off (short side) & pushed out (its a swedge type ) therefore saving the oem piece if needed in future.? the ends ur looking for are a screw type adapter that will mount in the hole left by the removal of the piece. then u will need another for the carb end also -search here in the archives as its all been done before. I used the "manco" cable on mine. I had to fab a bracket that's bolted too the bottom of the gas pedal bolt to make it happen. Good Luck http://www.gokartsupply.com/thcable.htm
