Picking up my new 67 Falcon today
Well today is the day I get my new 67 Falcon van. Insurance deposited the money in the bank, and I'm ready to get back on the road. My daughter and I are taking a road trip to Atlanta to pick up and finalize the price. He's asking $6k, fresh paint, new brakes, tires, reupholstered mustang seats, rebuilt three on the tree. I hope it is as nice as advertised.

Well here she is! After a little inspection and removal of the Mustang seats, I haggled to $5500.
She has a few little oil leaks, (valve cover, and oil pan) and a shade tree patch panel all of the way across the side door opening from wheel well to wheel well. Does anybody have that piece to cut out??? Let me know if you can help me out. The front floor board from the doghouse to the first bend need replacing, but I think I recall seeing that online some where. Other than that she is pretty rust free, fresh paint( Wife is suggesting a repaint) Oh and the gold van in the background is for sale (Cheap)

Re: Picking up my new 67 Falcon today
Bruce,
I would suggest that if it is possible you hang on to your old van until you are finished working on your new one. You never know what you are going to discover that is missing, not correct or bad when restoring a vehicle!

I am pulling all of my new chrome and swapping the best parts to the new van. I am going to pull out the auto and all involved to make my new one an automatic so my special needs daughter can drive it.

Trying to cancel the order. Thanks to Duanne's sharp eye and deep understanding of our vans, I found out it won't fit my axel unless I switch the front axel with one from a Mustang II. That is above my pay grade. Oh well, I guess I'll have to save up for a set of D&D.

Thanks all. I got 8 of the windows installed yesterday. I hope to put the last two in on Wednesday, and maybe even a complete bellypan set. Picking up insurance , and tags tomorrow. Looking forward to getting everything right.
