Re: led rope lights
Wow, that stuff has come a long ways, I remember buying a string of lights for my old boat, it was like a small garden hose:)

Re: led rope lights
I only have experience using them on RC airplanes. There are lots of options for brightness, warm vs white, colors etc...
This is an excellent source, I have purchased several times.

(NOTE: If items are shipped from China, it can take WEEKS, some products are available from US warehouse and shipping is more normal, but the cost of the item is a little higher.)
I am considering some of the same for the Rolling Dead.

Re: led rope lights
Not yet, but I've used the RGB LED ones in a bar, and they are dynamite!I'm planning on putting a set in warm white, and another set of programmable RGB's in mine, for that Nightclub look... Phillips makes version that is 100% waterproof encasesd in Silicon for outdoor uses too. Just in case you want "hover effects".

Re: led rope lights
we use them all the time in the rv industry on the awning tubes. exact same thing. I have two rolls that I took off for warranty, because one bulb was out of each. I plan on putting them inside my van around the roof for low voltage lighting. we sell all different colors of them, and ones that change colors by remote. pretty awesome.
