Re: 66 E-VUCK project-2014
Thanks again Guys, this girl is in really nice shape, I hope to do it justice. It looks like someone did a half a__ job on a nice truck. Bad paint prep at all the seams. But, it has been preserved:)
holy crap next to the gas filler!
Some one carved out my spare tire mount! Maybe I can get one from someones donner truck.
Bed has a big wave but it pretty much dent free.
Replace those window seals!!!
A set of disk brakes from Vic is going in first.
Boys are boys no matter where you go. I pulled up to a stop sign and a family of four crossed in front of me. They waited to see if the truck would stop. I'm sure they have never heard that tin can rolling sound before. The boys head was craned around to look at the truck all the way down the street:)
I have to work like the Japanese here. Organized on my very small island. I'm single right now so the back porch is part of my work space:)

Re: 66 E-VUCK project-2014
Thanks Bruce67
Rained like hell today. I found out where the leaks are in the truck...The rear quarter window is leaking like a sieve. I'm guessing that's a common prob? You can see where surface rust has been repaired from water pouring in from the headlamps, but they never fixed the leak...

Eight inches of snow on the way...Too damn cold to work outside. I would love to get out of this city and get a decent shop. Working on it.

That's a Cool photo! Almost looks like a fake scene with a toy Matchbox truck! We're finally starting to see our snow disappear here. You have my condolences on your additional coating...

Re: 66 E-VUCK project-2014
Donn's new truck has me fired up again:)!!
My dog sniffing it out, we have finally had a few decent days here.
Finally got a solid seat! Thanks Tim/EconoUSA!
Still have a lot of bugs to work out. Rebuilding shift column next. I can feel it sticking in the column.
Cheers to the wealth of info from the masters on this site.
EVERYTHING I'm doing would would take 3 times as long without the gems I have gleamed from this site. It has made it possible to do so many things well, and better. I am very thankfull!!
