    Hi,
I just got back into vanning after an absence of about 15 years. Been looking for several years to find what I wanted in another van. FINALLY FOUND IT!

A 1964 Econoline short bed panel. Heavy duty suspension ( 13 springs each side in back!!!) , upgraded already with a 300 inline big six & of course has the 3 on the tree.

I'll post a couple pics of how she looks the day I brought her home ( drove her home 114 miles). Will update as she progresses.

OH...BTW........that's the original paint. She was a South Carolina van until last week when she was trailered to Ohio.

So clean underneath it's mind blowing.

Yeah.......you can't see the cop car in front of me...........I got pinned in by two of em. I just laughed at em...........my illegal days are far behind me..........I was cool. :p

Yeah..........me either on the springs. But I think it's factory.
It was owned by a truckin outfit originally down south. It was a tool/parts van I guess. Looks like a 1 ton spring setup in a shortbed. Rides very nicely.
And the 300ci in it really puts some juice to it. It also feels like it's pretty long legged ( high geared) and set up to cruise the highway.
Untuned & with a sticky front brake the 1st half of the way home it still got around 25mpg by my estimates. NOT BAD AT ALL! Smile I was taking it slow too.
I'll try to remember to snap a few pics of the underside to show the spring setup.

YEP...........I looked at a few flatties over the last 5 years or more before I found this one. I'm pretty pleased. I told her all the way home if she got us there in one piece I'd baby her and put her together really good. A promise I'll keep.
    Smile

BTW her name is Mary Jane .
