I think we can save some vans by posting pictures and where we seen them. This sounds like a new post for I Seen a Van,,,,

And this would be Ken,,,,,,,,The Orange Dodge was a van that he cut down and added benches along the sides and he plans to put a table and a BBQ back there and have a mobile party machine. The primered 2nd Gen is going to be a Gratefull Dead tribute van,,,,,,and he drives the white G20........

That is Chucks version of power steering. It is from an Astro Van, but since the pitman arm on our vans is on the left side, when he put this in, the wheels turned in the opposite direction of the steering wheel. So to make steer right, he cut it and installed gears to reverse the rotation so it steered right. I guess you better wear short pants and not have loose shoe strings to drive this van. The whole van got all kinds of inventions on it,,,,,,,,one of a kind,,,,,,,

Cool thread! Good to see so many "unknowns" popping up. I might be the only G van rolling around San Antonio. Sad

So...what's the reasoning behind the hi riders? Not that I don't like them...I dig them because they remind of the 70's...I just don't quite understand the "why" of the style.

I had the opertunity to meet 'Scott' from the board yesterday. He and his brother were on the way back to the Lonestar State from Bristol.Met up at the Cracker Barrel, had a meal, and swap stories for about an hour. Thanks for the dinner!Ya snuck that in on me. lol
Once again...more "good people" I've met from this board.
As a suggestion...if ya ever pass through a town,or know of a fellow vanner passin through yours, take a lil time and say hello.

I'm usually not much of a people person, but I've had a good time meeting different people from the van sites.

Thanks for meeting up with us Nightmoves, the conversation and pancakes were real good.
