I have the Popular Science March 1955 issue that has this or something very similar in it. But no name!! A prototype that never really made production ? The mag just calls it the futuristic GM truck.

Jkr that is ugly. Thanks Digz, I had a feeling it was GM, looks like a 55/57 chevy front bumper but couldn't make out the front emblem, on the side door the handle is in the middle, could this have been the 1st gull wing ?? I don't see any slider track . ???

The GM one is a 1955 GMC L'Universelle. The door hinged up instead of sliding. Spiffy.
