I was having so much fun watching nothing get done on my '66 that I went out and got another van. It's a '69 Chevy panel, pretty clean, nice chrome and not much rust. I have to put my other carb and radiator from the '66 in it but other than that, I think it's ready to roll.
Hope everyone had a good ThanksgivingSams van x 2 Img_0110

The stock 6 cylinder 1st Gen radiator is not as wide as a 2nd Gen,,,,,you might have to add a little plate to hold it in there,,,,,

Had to work a little late but still managed to get the carbs switched out. I had to modify the linkage a little and use the fuel line from the other van but it cranked right up. The radiator that came out of my '66 is an aftermarket aluminum one. I wasn't sure if it would go right in or not. I'll let you know tomorrow. The one thing I need is a proper bracket to hold the choke cable at the carburetor end . Both vans had some hokey bent up pieces of crap in there. Anyone got a spare?
