Hey all - just found this place and I thought I would show you my 65 Econoline truck - affectionately called the  "Vuck"  (not a van, not a truck....its a Vuck! )

Welcome to VV L&S! We've got a few members from British Columbia and from all over the world for that matter. Nice Vuck you've got there. I like that old school vintage look you got going on with it. I think you're going to like it here. We all seem to have the same disease and can't seem to get enough of these vintage vans and trucks! If your pictures are getting cut off, just choose the 640 pixels when pasting them in and that should fix it. We'd love to see some more pics as well. Thanks and again, welcome!

Thanks - I love these old Vucks... mine has a 289 under the doghouse and a c4 trans. We use it almost every day for hauling freight and bikes around. This winter it is gonna take a break and get a few more mods like an aluminum rad and a secondary fan to keep the carb from boiling out when you shut it off for a few minutes.

Welcome, Nice looking vuck. I had a 61 with the same engine combo. a stock 65 Mustang radiator and a Taurus two speed fan cured all my cooling problems.I had the low speed set on a fan timer worked great.

Thanks guys. Have been having a riot with this one.... cheapest restoration I have done in years and probably the most fun. I am contemplating doing another one..... but making something radical out of it. I think my wife may over-rule this idea though..... she seems to think I need to come out of the shop at times.

That's awesome! Looks great. I see you are in B.C. You are close enough you could bring that down to the Hootenanny sept. 20-21-22nd in WA state. Its gonna be awesome.

I would love to bring it down but am booked up that weekend. We love the nickname "Vuck" but our kids are a little horrified when we tell them we are going "Vucking" after work.
