    Hey Fellas, as you know i'm the newbe with the 62 Econo Panel. I'm going to restore Chris's roof on his new baby. His 66 Chevrolet step by step... So here i'm starting. Thanks Ken

    Ken had me stop by to see what he has done so far, new patch is in. Just has to finish it

    He made some braces to help hold the panels weight

    LOOKS GREAT. cheers .Once you lead it you will never know the repair was there. Hopefully someday I will get my rear vent removed and a patch welded in also.

    Hanged out with Ken today, was going to start leading the roof patch. Ken started the tinning process but the heat was warping the panel

    We will have to Duraglass it instead, but didn't have any so we started working on other parts of the roof that need so help

    worked on the 66 roof today, using a product called allmetal. It's like Bondo and Alum. together

    Reading the contents on can, says it has a lead base. Dries firm and sands like bondo. When i put the fire to it, the panel was popping so i went this route as an alternative. It will work just as well.
