new paint job

Post by OldBird on Sun Oct 14, 2012 6:43 pm

Finally got my pickup back from the body shop. I traded a 1962 chevy nova body for a paint job. he had it 3 months. I am trying to get it ready for the last cruise in of the summer. I have 5 days, wish me luck.

the color suposed to be turquise but my painter got the color wrong, it is a light jade. but it looked good and after 3 months of waiting I said it would be ok.and took it.

I always liked that color on the trucks and vans of the 60's (50's too for that matter) and it looks great on your truck as well. Looks like a very nice paint job. Have fun.

Nicely done!! Especially like the relocation of the fuel door and the shaven ribs on the front corner panels. Great work.
