Re: REAR SWAY BAR
Looking at your bar, is it possible to mount the bar on the topside of the pumpkin. This would shorten the links up a bunch, maybe too much?? I realize your bags would interfere but maybe for those not running bags.

Re: REAR SWAY BAR
They do put the bar on the frame and the links on the rear end sometimes,,,,,as long as you can get it to mount on the frame and find a place for the links to mount on the rear end,,,,,,,I think I paid $90 on Ebay for the 2 air bags,,,,,,and then built 2 brackets to mount them on the rear end and up on the rubber bumper bracket on the frame,,,,,,,I don't don't like to spend too much on my van,,,,then he will get spoiled and expect more,,,,,I had to kick in an extra $2 for a core just so he would have a rear sway bar.......

Re: REAR SWAY BAR
Actually I was thinking just flip the bar to the upper side of the rearend, just spinning the u-bolts 180*. This would be just to shorten up the end-links.

Re: REAR SWAY BAR
I don't have air bags up front,,,,but I do have one of those steering stabilizers connected between the axle and center link to cut down on the road and steering wheel wander. As for those rear bags,,,,they are mainly for carrying heavy loads,,,,I don't like that the spring shackles support the whole van,,,,that frame is not the strongest in the World. As for the ride,,,,I have 7 leafs in each spring,,,,it rides like a truck,,,if you put a lot of air in them, it really rides rough,,,,but I can sure get a mean looking rake when I crank that rear end up in the air...
