Can anyone give me the exact position/coordinates for the location of the radiator overflow tank bolt hole on the rear passenger side of the engine compartment?

that sounds like an aftermarket tank, the factory one
is mounted on top of the upper radiator support with one
    hose clamp.

The crossflow radiator uses a surge tank on top of the radiator,,,,the downflow has a bottle like next to the oil filter,,,,,

Yes Donivan65! I think I have a "downflow" radiator and I remember the tank on that side of the engine compartment but I thought it was further back closer to across from the dipstick roundabouts. Any idea exactly where that bolt hole goes? farao

Hmm. My 68 doesn't have a puke can(6 cyl originally, downflow), and my 69 didn't(V8, crossflow), and neither did the 70(6 cyl, crossflow).

Here's whats shown in the GM Service Manual.

This top one is a 1st. Generation

This one would me in a 2nd. Generation

But I found this at a local pick-a-part. It's a 2nd. Generation, with a wide Doghouse, but it has a radiator mount for a 1st. generation.

That would be the GS series- six cylinder. That's how my 68 is set up.

It just depends on what type of bottle you use,,,,,,find a spot,,,,,make a bracket to hold it in place,,,,we use these Nissan types for our 1st Gen Vans,,,,,
