The name of the electrical connectors and terminals GM used in the 60s and 70s is Packard 56 Series. Packard 59's are bigger and are used on the headlight connectors. These can be purchased new:

They make a ratcheting crimping tool that does both the electrical crimp and the strain relief in one shot. They are over $100 - $200 new! Cheaper crimpers can be used to do this in two or three steps. The key is that the tool has a "butt" shaped part to curl the metal into the wire.
