I have a friend who has a '65 chevy van who wants to put a more modern front suspension in his van. He owns a salvage yard so parts are plentiful. Any idea's of what would work or problems he may encounter doing this? I think I've seen somewhere where someone used a s-10 suspension?

No easy answer. This will require alot of fabrication work... cut and weld in your choice of suspension. A good example is Frank Costa's #9 which uses all corvette suspension... many, many hours of fabrication work!

Don't want that? Rebuild the stock suspension and find a front sway bar. Good shocks and these vans handle suprisingly well for a leaf spring vehicle
