Gypsy queen 67 a108

Well figured its time to introduce myself and my van. My names Geoff, and This is The Gypsy Queen my 67 Dodge A108/318/3 speed. I picked her up in Sacramento in January as a driving project and shes been my daily ever since. So far I've had to do the brakes/master cylinder/hoses, alternator/volt regulator, freeze plugs, and am in the process of replacing every rubber hose on her so maybe ill be able to keep my fluids in it rather than under it. She has a long way to go, but here is my start.


This is the only picture I have of the day I picked her up, Very poor quality. Had a lot of surface rust and a little bit of cancer.


My filthy motor, I just took out the old gnarly insulation and still need to put the new stuff in (gets pretty hot driving)


This is how she sat a few months ago after a lot of sanding and a few cans of primer. Not much has changed since then except a lot more stickers in the windows and some new tires.













And a Few Inside shots. I forgot to take some before shots when I got it. It basically was two green benches that ran the length of the van that had storage inside em. But here is where I'm at now.

A 108 no door don't think I've seen one of those before.

Nice work on the interior, the curved cabinet at the back is cool.

I haven't seen another no door either, they gotta be around somewhere. It took a while to find the bending plywood to face the curved cabinet.

Cool van dude, my 108 must have the doors off yours ,both sides and the rear , no good for kidnapping though -too many exits ha ha, good luck with it!

I was gonna tell ya pop the bumpers off it helps the looks alot. I just noticed you photoshop shot has bumper shadows but no bumpers haha

The shroom bubble windows are always a favorite

Yeah shooms are pretty rad, but I just talked to my buddy Oly who is runnin around in a 74 Econoline no window (also in turlock)and guess what he just picked up.......those exact shrooms! Looks like its time to start thinking of a different bubble for my van. don't want to have the same as him. any ideas or leads on some good lookin bubbles?

I have these but they have holes in the outer frame cause someone lost the inner frames.

Setup a search on ebay and have it mailed to you everyday, they come across fairly regularly but people get top dollar for them.

Got some more done to the van these last few weekends. Got a couple sunroofs at Pick n Pull, some pretty rad diamond stitch paneling, and a drink tray. Hopefully this weekend Ill have some more done inside. Here are some pictures of the progress.

So I got a little more done to the van since my last visit.



I got the bumpers off finally and I'm loving the way it looks. Next step with that is to french my license in the door.





And today I got my triangle bubble in. Getting closer to my end goal every few months and I'm diggin it. Hope y'all are too.
