Almost all these shipping companies always take longer than they say, but your van will be there soon. I'm like you when I told something by a company I expect them to follow threw

Go to www.transportreviews.com You can see just about every transport company and how they rate on customer service, punctuality and price. What I found out about shipping companies is that they are just the middleman. You pay the fee(usually about $230) to them and they pay the trucker to transport. Their fee always stays the same(no surprise), but then they have to take the rest of the money and see if a trucker will ship it for that amount. So if it's a low amount, not many truckers will want to jump on it. Unfortunately for you, the higher the price, the faster the truckers will want to get it to you and get paid.

I live in St. Louis, Missouri and found my van in Washington state. It cost about $1200 to ship it. It only took about 5 days to get it here. So beware of cheap shipping bids. They will jerk you around every time.

Actually, as I was short a parking space I went with the low bidder hoping it would take weeks or more to deliver, specified no rush, on my bid. Then, it arrived in 3 days. Kind of a PITA for me and forced me to lose money on a quick sale of something else. Otherwise, every shipping company I've used has taken longer than expected.
