Don't Start it Right now .... let it thaw out .... Some times that will split tubes in the Radiator Core .....

Re: frozen water inside radiator
I'd get a trouble light with a regular light bulb (not one of those curly ones) and put it between the radiator and the motor to keep things above freezing until weather gets a little better. It's cold way over here on the other side of the state too.

Thats a good way to have a freeze out plug pop out on ya. I would certainly try and get it thawed out. A few blankets blocking off the cold airflow and a trouble light for heat might do the trick.

We use a product called (water wetter) from Advance Auto. It makes heat transfer more efficent and requires only 25% anti freeze for corosion protection. Works real well here in FL.

Whenever I go down south I always get some guy asking me how I like my electric car(because of the cord sticking out front)...Then I have to explain that it's so cold up north that we need to plug our cars in at night so they'll start in the morning. Hope nothing cracked!!!

We lived in upstate N.Y. and newer had to use a block heater. Always used Mobile One 5W30 in the winter. Sure makes it turn over better, plus a well tuned engine helps.

My wife parks in the garage and never plugs in and I park outside...about the only time I need to plug in is when the actual temp is about -15 f ...I've always used mobile One 5w30 also...expensive oil change but I think it's worth it!

Wal-Mart has the best price for Mobil-0ne in 5 quart containers. Even use it here in FL. Only the 20-50 .

Yes on the walmart price on the oil. Im also looking into the new Castrol syn=has more & better aditives. Just remember to add the zinc additive-still need it with anything but roller cams & lifters.
