Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
I'm with VB the seats looks very nice, but I wouldn't want a long ride with them. Other than that it's just Bad A$$. To many cool mods to list

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
Hopefully some vanners will be going to GNRS in Pomona Ca. this weekend to see this amazing van shown for the first time.
Coby has been invited to the CofC van show in Buena Park Ca. Feb 19th and says he will be there with the van. I'm hoping he can make it as already the buzz is incredible on the van on all kinds of automotive forums and Facebook and he'is being pulled in many directions by the show people and magazines.

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
I think you guys are dead wrong on those seats. one of my favorite aspects of that van. has a slight resemblance to the herman miller eames designed LCW (lounge chair wood)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eames_Lounge_Chair_Wood
charles and ray eames applied ergonomics to make their designs extremely comfortable. two of my eames chairs pictured below. yeah, I collect chairs...

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
Hard seats like a typical chair are fine since they arent exposed to pot holes. They just sit there obviousy. Put em in a vehicle and hit some bumps and see how your keester feels then. For vehicles in motion,i think padded is a necessity.

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
i dont get peoples comments about the seats....this is obviously not a daily driver. its a rolling display for his clothing company. a shirt stand if you will yet completely functional. being that NOBODY has yet come up with an econoline van that is sitting on the ground and completely roadworthy besides coby...most people have no idea that there is also a reason why the seats need to be super thin and low profile. when you drop a van that you sit over the axle you loose headroom. think about it.

Im hoping you "get" my comments cuz I clearly stated "For vehicles in motion,i think padded is a necessity". Its pretty obvious that his van isnt a daily driver and wont spend a lot of time in motion. Im sure that he was going for a specific look. I never knew it was built for displaying clothing but that explains the racks in the roof. All things considered its a beautiful van with some nice craftsmanship.

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
I'm also not knocking this van, it's a thing of beauty. Most all of our vans here are drivers. The seats are also beautiful just not for riding on thats all. I will say this I would love to think my vans could ever be at that level.

It is a work of art! I'd put that puppy in the living room and just look at it! Since it's too heavy to hang on the wall.....

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
It's sitting in a 20x20 foot display at the Grand National Roadster Show right now. We'll have to ask Coby about the t-shirt display aspect when we see him in Buena Park and or Detroit. Somehow I don't think we'll be seeing any t-shirts hanging from the rafters this weekend.

Re: Van Go . . . completion pics
Here are some completed pics from Thursday set-up at the GNRS.
You can't save them (pro photographer), but they are great shots for those that can't go to the show.
Finally, some overall views!!!
