Re: 69' wsds parts van
There is some black showing through the steering wheel, so I don't know if it's painted or not. Both of the seats have one split in the center that has blue duct tape on it. The generator was used to power the radio station tower when they were at an event away from the station. He wanted $400 with the generator, but I got it for $300 and bring the gen back to him for his garage. I think I am going to swap the column, steering wheel, and steering gear as one unit so I don't run the risk of damaging anything.

Re: 69' wsds parts van
This van has a lot of stuff that both of the '67s and the '68 don't. I has blue plastic panels that go around all the pop outs and a extra piece of metal to dress up the edge of the r/s rear cargo door. It also has a day night mirror in the center of the windshield. I have to try the wipers, but the switch has a delay mark written on it (pic tomorrow) The front seats don't have the gap at the back either and they bolt in instead of having the 4 pins.

Re: 69' wsds parts van
I have 2 other sets of seats that need to be redone that have the pin mounts, both sets are from '67. I also have another trans that can out of a '67 camp wagon, no idea if it works. This one I want to try and see if it shifts before I pull it out. I have a bunch of the little stuff to.

Those blue plastic pannels and metal strip for the barn doors bring good $$ . They look cool in a pannel van too!

Re: 69' wsds parts van
I wish I could bring myself to sell the blue panels, but they fit the '68 pop top which is a sportsman so they are going in there with the idea of selling it in the spring.

Mark, the first window I took out the tint was so perfect on I thought it was factory, but no such luck... After a couple of more I found some loose edges and it is film tint.

Got the fuel tank out tonight
and all you can say is it is an a100 fuel tank. It has about 100 pin holes in it after sand blasting the crap off of it, and 1 repair in the bottom that would need to be redone. It's no prize, but if you don't have one I guess it is better than nothing. Almost all of the problem areas are under that paper mat that they put on top of the tank and down the front to keep it from rubbing.

Not a bad idea... might take it in trade for some of the stuff you need.

Re: 69' wsds parts van
coat the inside with a product called " por 15 ". did my tank 9 years ago with a bunch of pin holes and it's still good as new. it,s a lot of work but it saved a fuel tank from the scrap heap.
it had a couple holes the size of a pencil but tape over the hole and follow the instructions to the letter and IT WORKS.
