Hello,

I'm new to this site, but have been looking for a vintage van for a while - I'm torn between the 60's Econolines and the A100/108s. I've had both vintage Ford and Dodge/Plymouth cars before and was just wondering what those of you "in the know" would say I should look for or avoid in either -

I'm sure the Chevy vans also have their merit, but I've never had a Chevy so I'd rather stay with the devil I know.

Also, any lines on vans that are available in the SF Bay area ...

I am new to the forum but always loved the vans since I was little. What I am looking for is a short panel van. Custom. V8. Custom Interior, Exterior. I want it 90% to 100% complete. No projects. I am open to all years as long as it is a panel. Back Door Windows are OK but no side windows. I have cash and I am ready to make a deal. Please send me some info. I am located on the east coast so closer to me is better for an easier pickup but I will travel for the right one. Let me see ...

I am in Southern California and looking for an Econoline van early to mid 60's. I don't mind going to another location and drive it back, but must be convinced it will make the drive before I go very far out of S C. More interested in stock condition than customized. Would like original drive train and restore the rest to suit myself. I need to be driving it while I restore. Thanks for any feedback.
