So I got my van delivered and immediately started taking stuff apart

after taking the rear part of the dog house off to get to the distributor, I'm changing out to electronic... I noticed that the wiring harness that goes to the alternator, coil and water temp sender has seen better days.

does anyone make a new replacement?

or do i need to find a good junk yard version?

Does the A108 use the same front end parts as the a100? i know that the brake shoes are bigger on the A108. But thats about all. I have a clunking kind of sound when hitting a bump while turning sharply. Somebody wiser than I says kingpins. I might as well do it all if I have to take it apart.

I'm looking at a 69 A108 with 318 for sale. When I got underneath I spotted this unusual rear transmission mount holding up what I think is a standard length 727 (instead of the shorter A100 version). This can't be factory Dodge can it? I can see a place on the front of the frame crossmember for a top transmission mount. The mount looks sturdy enough but it's counting on the floor of the van to hold up the transmission instead of the frame. Would this bother anyone else? I've done a quick search ...

And what cam spec's would you guys recommend that I put in when I go through the bottom end of my /6. I would like a little lope, and have considered dropping a crate V-8 in, but I like my /6 and don't want to upgrade the brakes just to have more HP. Mine has less than 50,000 on it and I want to keep it pretty much original.
