Also figured out that there is a bracket that the wiper motor bolts to also extends along the skin of the van to support the wiper arm mounts too...
Anyone need pieces of stainless?? I have almost a complete set from an A108 that I am not going to use. You guys get first crack before it goes on ebay. The best idea I have come up with so far for shipping is the get empty carpet tubes and nail a plywood plug in the end. Any other ideas??

Well, a local musician friend has called me to say he's parting with his Econoline... registered, drove it through winters, but steering is too loose and needs new wiring now... "Corey, I'm sure I could get a little more, but I'll sell it to you for $300 because I know you love them!"

I do know of a guy that asked about buying one, so I may try to connect them... may buy it for myself, may make a deal with the current owner to refurbish the worn steering and wiring problems so ...

Hello,

My dad has a '64 Falcon Van with the original floor box heater. A couple of years ago I found and NOS heater valve and it's installed. I recently had the heater core flushed, checked for leaks and repaired by a great radiator shop. Hot water is getting to the valve but will not go through. I disconnected the valve and flushed cold water through the core but hot antifreeze will not go through. The core doesn't get warm at all.

I installed a rear heater and it is working great ...

On the show "Two Guys Garage " on Spike TV. ( I was wrong it was Speedvision ) this morning, I'm lookin, and I'm lookin, and Lo and behold, I see a second gen. chevy. They did some wiring on the van and then evidently cut the corners on the front bumper and had it curve more towards the body giving the bumper a more rounded look on the corners.

I still get a little excited whenever I see an Early on TV. Only caught the last 2 minutes of the show so I have to try and catch it again.
